What We Deliver

Everything an EV charging project needs, from one team

From the first load check to the stamped permit set, each deliverable is drawn to NEC, the utility and the local AHJ, built to move through review without back-and-forth.

EV Permit Plan Sets

Complete, permit-ready packages for Level 1, Level 2 and DC fast charging, drawn for the AHJ.

Electrical Load Calculations

Service-capacity analysis, demand load and NEC sizing with panel or transformer upgrades flagged early.

Single-Line Diagrams

Panel to breaker to disconnect to charger, with conductor, conduit and OCPD called out.

Site & Parking Plans

Charger placement, ADA stalls, bollards, striping and signage, laid out to scale.

Panel Schedules

Circuit assignments, connected loads and breaker sizing, documented sheet-clean.

Aesthetic Options

Black-on-black, carport and canopy layouts for the look the customer wants.

What's in a Plan Set

See exactly what you get

Every Vishtik permit package is a complete, submission-ready plan set. Step through the sheets to see what arrives, cover, site, roof, single-line and calcs.

Utility, Code & AHJ

The compliance layer, handled

EV permits live or die on the electrical service, the utility’s rules and the AHJ’s checklist. We carry all three.

Electrical & NEC

NEC-compliant circuits, grounding, OCPD and disconnects, sized for the charger load and future expansion.

Utility Coordination

Service-capacity checks and coordination for transformer or service upgrades on larger and DC fast sites.

ADA & Accessibility

Accessible stalls, clearances, signage and striping to ADA and local accessibility requirements.

AHJ comment response, included.

When a plan checker sends comments, our engineers turn the redlines with code-referenced responses and revisions stay free until the permit is approved.

Why Choose Vishtik for EV

An engineering partner, not a drafting vendor

Most EV “engineering” is a marketplace that matches you to whatever partner is free, or a drafting shop that traces a template. Vishtik is one team that owns your electrical design end to end.

A Dedicated Team, Not a Marketplace

You work with one engineering team that learns your projects, not a different partner pulled from a directory each time.

7,000+ AHJs On File

Local electrical, fire and zoning rules for EV permits, mapped, so sets land right the first time.

Real Electrical Engineering

Load calcs, single-lines and panel schedules done by engineers who size the service, not traced from a template.

PE Stamps, Coordinated

Electrical and structural stamps with PEs licensed in the project’s own state, on the timeline you need.

The 3Q Quality Method

Self-QC, independent QC, then QA before release, fewer plan-check comments, faster approvals.

Fast, Reliable Turnaround

Quick on standard Level 1 and Level 2 sets, with clear timelines on DC fast and fleet projects.

How It Works

From design prep to permit approval

Every project runs the same route, with a clear owner at each stage, so nothing stalls and you always know where a file stands.

Frequently Asked Questions

We run a load analysis on the existing service — current capacity, demand patterns and headroom — and tell you whether the panel is fine or needs an upgrade. For DC fast sites we also flag transformer and service-upgrade needs with the utility.

Site address, photos and layout; electrical service panel details (voltage and amperage); charger type (Level 1, Level 2 or DC fast) and number of ports; usage intent (home, public, fleet); and utility provider. For DC fast, transformer details too.

Yes — from a single Level 1 home charger to Level 2 retail and fleet depots and DC fast corridor sites. Each set is sized to the charger, the service and the AHJ.

Many AHJs require electrical or structural PE stamps for multi-family and commercial charging. We coordinate both, with PEs licensed in the project’s state.

Yes. We handle the structural and electrical design for solar carports with charging — canopy and foundation detail, PV and charger integration, net metering and optional storage.

Standard Level 1 and Level 2 sets move fast, with a clear delivery time confirmed at intake. DC fast and fleet projects are scoped per project, with the timeline agreed up front.
