Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Engineer with US solar permit experience to help power the future of clean energy. This role offers the opportunity to work on US-based projects and deliver high-quality, compliant permit packages. We’re seeking practical, detail-oriented Permit Design Engineers with experience in solar permit drawings. Strong understanding of solar PV systems and permitting standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD

 

Requirements
  • Review and ensure quality of solar permit drawings.
  • Maintain compliance with US AHJ standards.
  • Coordinate with design teams to improve accuracy and turnaround time.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for SLDs, layouts, and electrical drawings
  • Good understanding of solar PV systems and permitting workflows
  • Familiarity with NEC codes, AHJ requirements, and US permit standards
  • Experience with system sizing and equipment selection
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Good coordination and communication skills
Preferred Skill
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Ability to create high-quality technical drawings from plans
  • Strong communication and understanding skills
  • Technical Background
